St Joseph Church Reflecting in the Spring Flood Waters

Back Story behind this photograph:
I saw this scene 36ish years ago (1982 or 1983) shortly after I moved to Chatham from Windsor. There was a huge flood back then. I remember seeing the complete reflection of the church steeple on land to steeple in the water. It was so beautiful. I was unable to get the shot then but that sight has always stayed with me. We have had other flooding on the Thames River since then but none have been comparable to the one back then and matched the vision I had from 36 years ago. Soooo, on this night as Dave and I drove around I had him turn down Dover St. and there it was. I couldn't believe my eyes! There are trees in the way, the old ones have grown and there are some new ones too, but a building or 2 are now gone. The view was just as I remembered it to be.
